FIME reports that its testing laboratories have been accredited by EMVCo for EMV Contactless Interface v3.0.

FIME has been accredited by Mastercard to deliver biometric authentication testing services for fingerprint in line with its new guidelines for mobile device sensors.

FIME is claiming to be the first to have both its test tool and laboratory qualified by GlobalPlatform in line with the GSMA’s latest consumer eUICC SGP.23 specifications and the SIMalliance Interoperable Profile.

Stephanie El Rhomri, vice president of Technology at FIME, has been elected to the Board of GlobalPlatform, the industry body which standardises the management of applications on secure chip technology.

GlobalPlatform has announced its Board of Directors for fiscal year 2016.
