Openet enables in-car WiFi for Orange Slovakia

Openet has enabled an innovative, new in-car Wi-Fi service for Orange Slovakia. The new solution extends the existing Openet and Orange Slovakia relationship enabling seamless connectivity via Wi-Fi to the Orange Slovakia mobile network. Orange Slovakia now supports multiple devices connected to different content via a single in-car router, enhancing efficient entertainment, information and navigation services to in turn enhance the customer experience.

This launch forms a strategic shift for the Orange Slovakia’s brand as it evolves towards becoming Slovakia’s premium digital service provider as well as its most efficient transport connectivity enabler.

“Our latest in-car Wi-Fi service underlines our commitment to innovation and ensuring our customers benefit from the very latest, cutting edge connectivity,” says Zuzana Nemeckova, the commercial director at Orange Slovakia.

Niall Norton, the chief executive at Openet, added: “Orange Slovakia is at the forefront of service innovation and remains a valued customer. Its in-car Wi-Fi service is a great example of the flexibility and agility that our leading policy and charging products can deliver to operators – as well as the diversity of use cases they can enable. An enhanced customer experience is at the heart of any new digital service offering and remains critical in achieving differentiation.”
