Safaricom helped by Flash to Kenya’s first place for network performance

Flash Networks, a provider of mobile internet optimisation and monetisation solutions, reports that Kenyan operator Safaricom, has implemented Flash Networks’ Harmony 7.5.

The deployment is designed to improve network quality by providing their subscribers with faster mobile browsing. After implementing Flash Networks web optimisation solution Safaricom achieved first place in a mobile performance benchmark test conducted by P3 Communications, an independent network testing and measurement company. Safaricom improved the quality of experience to increase customer satisfaction and to meet the stringent requirements of a global operator group that has a managing interest in them.

Flash Networks’ patented acceleration solution claims to make the fastest networks (including 4G) even faster, enabling operators to provide their subscribers with the best possible user experience. The company’s video acceleration reportedly improves the user experience, reducing buffering and providing smooth loading while ensuring smooth downloads and speedy browsing for all subscribers. Flash Networks acceleration solution boosts network speeds without requiring an investment in additional infrastructure, providing a greener and more cost effective solution.
