Feefo ratings and reviews platform is launched as a free eCommerce plugin via Shopify

With recent research showing that 63% of customers are more likely to make a purchase from a site which features user reviews, there is growing demand for communication service providers (CSPs) and other businesses to listen to what their customers are saying.

However, research also shows that up to 25% of reviews are fake. Feefo says that while this trend is troubling to businesses and customers alike, there is cause for hope too.

Now the consumer ratings and reviews platform, Feefo has added a new eCommerce Plugin to its suite of feedback features. Businesses can install it for free via Shopify . It is also being developed for Magento, Bigcommerce, Volusion and others.

As a closed-feedback platform, reviews and ratings from Feefo are only collected from genuine customers. Customers who have made a purchase or transaction are invited to leave a review. The new Feefo eCommerce Plugin for Shopify is the first in a line of plugin solutions, and will allow all businesses, regardless of their size, to begin collecting purchase-verified reviews immediately – and is entirely free.

Feefo CEO, Andrew Mabbutt commented: “With so many people reading and leaving reviews, it’s high time trusted feedback was available for all businesses. Our Shopify eCommerce Plugin levels the playing field: It is incredibly easy to install, and within minutes, businesses can begin collecting genuine reviews from their customers – free of charge.”

The free version of the Feefo eCommerce Plugin will allow businesses to begin collecting feedback immediately, with 50 feedback request emails per month and the ability to upload historical sales data. Also included are integration links to a personal business reviews page and access to Google Seller Ratings.

As an additional bonus, the full Premium Feefo suite is available for the first 30 days: This includes up to 150 feedback requests, up-to-the-second analytics and reporting as well as photo and video reviews, enabling businesses to respond to customers in real-time, see data right down to the product level, and produce custom reports across every level of operations.
