Extreme Networks taps former Cisco and Huawei exec to drive sales and services strategy in EMEA

Extreme Networks, Inc. has announced the appointment of John Morrison to the position of vice president, EMEA (Europe, Mid-East & Africa) sales and services.

Based at the company’s UK headquarters in Reading, John will assume responsibility for overseeing EMEA sales, services and strategy. Reporting directly to Bob Gault, executive vice president of worldwide sales, services and channels, Morrison will play a key role in strengthening the position of Extreme Networks in software-driven networking solutions.

Before joining Extreme Networks, Morrison held roles as a VP leading Huawei’s UK Enterprise business, during which he oversaw Huawei’s entry into the UK market, as well as operations lead for Cisco’s European Service Provider business. He also held senior sales roles, managing the BT 21st Century Network business for Cisco and the Cable and Wireless Account Globally.
