Openet has launched its Big Data Preparation Engine (BDPE), a data management and data governance system built specifically for communication service providers (CSPs), who face unique challenges around metadata, privacy, and security.

BDPE is claimed to be cost-effective, scalable, fully virtualised and provides actionable information. It aims to minimise the costs and complexity of managing massive data volumes and realize value from new business intelligence use cases on demand, at scale and in real-time. BDPE is commercially available now.
