International software company Summa Networks launches its new NextGen HSS solution

Summa Networks, which works uniquely in the development of state-of-the-art telecom products, launches a new NextGen Home Subscriber System solution, that offers operators scalable cloud deployable features based on open standards that speed up delivery of new services.

Following the latest trends of the telecommunications market like NFV or SDN, carriers are gradually moving to the Cloud. The need to allow a smooth transition from analogical to IP has inspired the founders of Summa Networks to develop their next generation Home Subscriber System. This software based HSS delivers significant feature and cost advantages over traditional products to both small and large service providers. Solution partner BroadForward, three-time GSMA nominee for Best Mobile Technology, provides the advanced Diameter routing and interworking technology incorporated in the NG HSS.

Summa Networks is a dedicated development company that focuses on research and delivery of state-of-the-art software telecom products. They rely on their technology partner BroadForward to integrate their solution on the operators’ side.

“The NG HSS delivers a solution that has a much better fit with the demands of modern networks. The solution we bring to the market with Summa is the accumulation of a highly scalable virtualised Next Generation subscriber management platform with the world’s best Diameter routing and interworking product.” said Taco Schoute, CEO of BroadForward.
