Mobileum fast-tracks LTE and VoLTE launch processes for CSPs

Mobileum, a provider of roaming and analytics solutions for telecom business transformation, has announced VoLTE extensions to its LTE Acceleration Suite.

The suite introduced Mobileum’s LTE Interworking Framework (IWF) and LTE Roaming-Enabler solutions, which have been designed to help CSPs quickly launch new LTE and VoLTE networks for both domestic users and international roamers.

The LTE Acceleration Suite obviates the need for network upgrade investments, thus reducing capital expenditure and lowering operational costs. By shortening the time to launch, this solution typically enables CSPs to see ROI in less than four months.

LTE and VoLTE deployments usually require substantial outlay for new core network elements, in addition to complex network upgrades, which are time consuming and can cause delays. “The LTE Interworking Framework function of Mobileum’s LTE Acceleration Suite addresses these challenges by enabling CSPs to streamline the launch process by re-using existing 2G or 3G network elements. This helps CSPs to accelerate adoption of LTE, VoLTE, by capturing and retaining customers that demand LTE speeds, and faster monetisation of LTE service.” said VVR Kishore, SVP of the Roaming Business at Mobileum.image012

Kishore continued: “The LTE Roaming-Enabler solution enables CSPs to instantly extend LTE support to roamers by using their existing 3G roaming agreements, thus eliminating long agreement processes, and accelerating time-to-revenue.”

Unique in its market, the LTE Acceleration Suite is offered with a flexible standards-based development framework that enables speedy addition of new protocols and services. Mobileum offers both Capex and Opex models for purchase of this solution.

Mobileum will be demonstrating its enhanced LTE Acceleration Suite at Mobile World Congress in Hall 6, Stand 6H41, from 22-25 February 2016.
