Touch extends Astellia monitoring to 4G

Astellia has extended its existing 2G and 3G monitoring solution within Touch, the Lebanese mobile operator, to cover its 4G network. Astellia will now monitor the entire Touch network from radio access to core network.

In a first phase, Astellia enabled Touch to successfully improve voice and data QoS and QoE as well as handset and 2G/3G network efficiency. In the second phase, Touch will not only be able to optimise its 4G network but also to monitor its premium customers and roamers using Astellia’s CEM and roaming analytics.

“Touch is committed to excellence and constant improvement,” said Wael Ayoub, the operator’s chief operations officer. “Astellia clearly understands our business drivers. We see the successful implementation of the first phase as the perfect foundation for a thriving partnership. We are confident that Astellia will continue to help us significantly improve the quality of service we deliver to our subscribers to maximise both customer satisfaction and profitability.”

Ali Wansa, the managing director for the Middle East at Astellia, added: “As a complete solution provider, combining a globally proven monitoring solution and unparalleled consulting services, Astellia is very proud to power Touch with real-time intelligence to make better informed business decisions.”
