Cisco achieves 800Gbps transmission milestone on Amitié transatlantic cable

Cisco has announced that they have transmitted 800Gbps on the Amitié transatlantic communications cable, which runs 6,234 kilometers from Boston, Massachusetts to Bordeaux, France.
