New York & Bern, Switzerland – Accenture collaborated with Swisscom on a climate strategy to reduce the telecommunications company’s emissions and help its customers reduce their emissions by one million tons of carbon by 2025 equal to 2% of Switzerland’s total carbon emissions.

Batelco, part of the Beyon Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ericsson to expand its sustainability initiatives and circular economy practices. Telefonica Tech and Geotab announce their collaboration with Vecttor to increase the efficiency, safety and sustainability of their vehicles. Telefonica Tech provides a fleet management service to Vecttor vehicles in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Sevilla and Valencia. This solution includes different components such as IoT connectivity, the device and the telematics platform. As a result, Vecttor has enabled more than 3,000 VTC vehicles to reduce 20 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
