Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Ericsson complete CS Core Transformation project

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Ericsson announced completion of the CS Core Transformation project. The project, which began in November 2022 and was completed in Indonesia ahead of schedule in September 2023, is a consolidation of two separate CS networks transformed into one single unified network with the latest architecture. Ooredoo, Zain, TASC Towers to create independent tower company in MENA region

ORDS announced that Ooredoo Group has entered negotiations with mobile telecommunications company K.S.C.P. (Zain Group) and UAE based TASC Towers Holding. The plan is to combine approximately 30,000 telecommunication tower assets in Qatar, Kuwait, Algeria, Tunisia, Iraq, and Jordan into a jointly owned independent tower company in a cash and share deal.
