Ready Wireless selects Syniverse for LTE optimisation

Syniverse is helping mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) Ready Wireless to respond to increasing network bandwidth demands and expand its ability to provide mobile services to wholesale and retail mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).

By using Syniverse’s IPX network, Ready Wireless is able to access a variety of solutions through the Syniverse MVNE Suite, including policy functions and hosted data optimisation. Together, these solutions allow Ready Wireless to streamline business processes and efficiently deliver mobile data.  As a result, Ready Wireless is one of the industry’s first MNVEs capable of controlling 4G data sessions in real time to help operators control their data costs and leakage.

“Accessing hosted solutions through Syniverse’s IPX network platform allows our MVNO customers to significantly decrease their go-to-market time by enabling them to launch services in as little as two months, while also gaining network reach to nearly every operator in the world,” said Glen Jasper,  the president of Ready Wireless. “One of our top priorities is helping MVNOs differentiate their offerings with innovative services, increasing ARPU and reducing churn. Syniverse’s hosted approach accelerates our product roadmap, which allows our partners to think big and move quickly.”

Ready Wireless is able to enhance its competitive edge through Syniverse’s MVNE-based policy functions by capturing data usage across multiple operators’ networks. Capturing this data enables Ready Wireless to determine when to halt 4G data sessions. By controlling 4G data sessions through real-time teardown, Ready Wireless ensures that subscribers only use their purchased amount of data.

“The hosted business model is becoming an attractive solution to enable providers to deploy new services quickly while reducing operational costs,” said David Wasserman, the senior vice president for North America at Syniverse. “By deploying our hosted solutions through IPX, MVNEs and MVNOs are able to spend less time managing multiple vendors and contracts and more time rolling out new features and services to grow their businesses. Our collaboration with Ready Wireless allows them to provide these advantages to MVNOs in a timely, cost-effective manner.”
