Lightower Fiber Networks leverages Netcracker’s next-gen OSS to gain momentum after merger

Netcracker Technology announced that Lightower Fiber Networks, a provider of all-fiber, high-performance networking solutions delivered over its own network, has used Netcracker’s Infrastructure Optimisation solution as the platform to consolidate its business processes and network infrastructure following its latest major merger.

Lightower provides all-fiber connectivity solutions to enterprises, educational institutions and governments via a network that is more than 30,000 miles wide, spanning 17 states across the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. The company’s network connects more than 22,000 service locations, including 275+ data centers, major cloud providers, 40+ financial exchanges and over 500 carrier hotels and central offices.

With Netcracker’s Infrastructure Optimisation solution based on its resource inventory and associated services, Lightower can establish a common source for network inventory and consolidate a number of processes that would have become more overlapping and complicated following its merger with Fibertech.

“Seamlessly integrating networks after a merger enables us to deliver cutting-edge network quality and offerings to a wider range of customers. Netcracker has helped us more quickly blend these networks and deliver innovative services and support by providing a single, consolidated solution to manage our infrastructure,” said Jason Campbell, COO at Lightower.

“Efficiently managing network operations is a core competitive advantage in this market,” said Rohit Aggarwal, vice president of Sales at Netcracker. “We are excited that Lightower has expanded its partnership with us, validating our ability to help service providers manage large and complex networks and resources and deliver the best possible offerings to their customers.”
