Telarix expands leadership team with two appointments

Telarix has added to its senior leadership team with the addition of Rich Marano as chief operations officer and Dan Dooley as chief revenue officer.

Marano joins Telarix with more than 30 years of experience, most recently serving as executive vice president at iconectiv where he led the company’s Information Solutions business. Prior to that position he served as vice president of Business Operations for Ericsson’s Support Solutions Unit and as executive vice president and chief operations officer of Telcordia.

Dooley has more than 28 years’ experience in Fortune 50, mid-size and startup organisations including over 20 years with international carriers. He joins Telarix from TruMobility where he served as president and chief operating officer. Dooley spent over 14 years at Sprint leading its $1 billion International Carrier Business, $6 billion Wireline Business and $2 billion Wholesale Business Units.

“I am very pleased to have Rich and Dan joining the company,” said Marco Limena, the chief executive of Telarix. “With extensive industry experience in both carrier and supplier markets, they will be critical in furthering growth and enhancing customer partnerships as we continuously shape the future of Telarix and continue to extend our product and market leadership.”

“Rich will be responsible for all technology operations from development to implementation, supporting the requirements of our customer in consolidating their carrier operations and the volumes of traffic across voice, SMS, and next generation services with Telarix as a single platform,” added Limena. “Dan will serve as a strategic partner to our customers. Coming from the wholesale business of Sprint, he understands the carrier business and its evolution.”

In January of this year, Telarix was acquired by Vista Equity Partners, a private equity firm with focused investments in software, data and technology-enabled companies. Vista partners closely with management teams and provides multilevel support to help companies reach their full potential.
