Cradlepoint invests £4m in new EMEA HQ in the UK to support customer and partner expansion

Cradlepoint, a global provider of cloud-based network solutions for connecting people, places, and things over wired and wireless broadband, is opening a new EMEA headquarters in West Byfleet, Surrey, close to London, the total investment for which is put at £4 million (€4.73 million)

The new facility will create a centrally-located resource centre housing the existing EMEA team and a series of newly created sales, marketing, operations and channel roles. The facility is 1708 square foot across two floors.

Cradlepoint’s investment in its new EMEA headquarters represents the company’s commitment to expanding its EMEA business through the IT channel. It will have a dedicated Solution Centre designed to demonstrate every aspect of Cradlepoint’s solution portfolio, both on premise and in the cloud. This will enable the hosting of live demos, training programmes and events for partners and customers.

“In the last year alone, Cradlepoint has seen its growth in EMEA business double,” commented Hubert Da Costa, vice president of EMEA, at Cradlepoint. “This rapid growth is set to continue in the coming year as firms across the region embrace cloud, mobile, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to increase their business agility, empower distributed workforces, and gain operational insights. As a result, an increasing amount of enterprise network traffic is moving off private IP networks and onto the public Internet. Now is the right time to invest so that we can not only grow the business, but make a real difference to the customers we already serve.”

“NetCloud allows companies to deploy private cloud networks over wired and wireless broadband Internet services for branch, mobile workforce, vehicle, and IoT networks. The new Byfleet facility will help the EMEA team grow Cradlepoint’s NetCloud platform, which is designed specifically for this new ‘Interprise’ era,” stated Da Costa.
