WeDo Technologies has announced the launch of its CollectionsBroker 8.0 software solution. This latest version of the CollectionsBroker platform delivers sophisticated credit and collections capabilities, including a new predictive credit scoring model, toenable CSPs to effectively evaluate the creditworthiness of their customers and make consistent and accurate credit decisions.

Key additions to this latest CollectionsBroker solution include:

  • Credit Scoring – new model analyses customer behavior continuously to estimate credit risk during the entire customer lifecycle and trigger intelligent preventive credit control initiatives
  • One2One & One2Many Interactions – through a single portal of smart content, including case relevant data, the solution provides integrated collections information about customer accounts, bills, payments, actions, agreements and scoring
  • Full Web Interface – a complete web-based graphical interface that includes smart segmentation strategies for each module to enable ease of configuration and design of new processes
  • Enhanced Collections Management Flexibility – provides the ability to set up and fine-tune a collections approach that best suits the individual customer’s current financial state, resulting in a more seamless handover of collection recovery information

CollectionsBroker 8.0 is designed to help CSPs reduce credit risk and decrease operational costs by monitoring and automating the processes of the entire customer lifecycle. The solution automates key collection processes and provides the CSP’s contact center and external entities with the tools needed to handle overdue or delinquent accounts. By providing information on collectables, the solution enables the update of data recorded from customer contact, offering support to tasks assigned to external collection agents.

The processes covered include:

  • Credit Scoring – estimates new customers’ credit risk and cyclical behavior scoring
  • Credit Control – monitors usage for each customer against their credit limit automatically and in real-time, to identify excessive usage and prevent possible default
  • Collections Management – applies user configured segmentation strategies, based on several criteria such as ‘customer type’, ‘risk scoring’, or ‘overdue amount’, to monitor customers’ debts and payments in real-time, performing automatic activities to handle each situation
  • Negotiation Management – provides flexible payment plans and negotiation conditions, including the number of installments, due dates and amount per installment
  • Managed Debt Packages – manages debt packages created and distributed to external collectors and monitors the package lifecycle, amounts collected and commissions plan agreed with the agency

The solution enables the automatic handling of the debt collection process through a set of configurable workflows that allow the desired process to be based on rules defined by certain events and criteria. It enables operators to react to any kind of event reported in the system with the most appropriate collection tasks.

“Keeping track of bills and payments through a well-established collections management process is critical to any business. CollectionsBroker 8.0 streamlines and manages the entire collections cycle, providing the knowledge and experience that will enable CSPs to reduce credit risk and prevent bad debt. Through efficient credit control and collections management, WeDo is committed to protecting the bottom line and ensuring revenue turns into profit,” said Rui Paiva, CEO, WeDo Technologies.
