OneAccess Partners with Passman Group to optimize digital services in French hotels

OneAccess Networks, has announced a partnership with Passman Group serving the French hospitality sector. Under the terms of the partnership, OneAccess will supply customer premises-based routers equipped with application performance management software, enabling Passman to optimise its delivery of Wi-Fi guest access services to hotel customers across France and Europe.

The technology partnership enables Passman to offer a new level of network visibility and control to its customers. Passman can now act upon insights generated by OneAccess proprietary application performance management software (OneAPM) which operates from inside the router and monitors traffic flows generated by the hotel’s customer-facing and administrative applications. OneAPM’s intelligent load balancing and traffic routing capabilities enable dedicated bandwidth to be assigned to high priority applications, like customer web-surfing. This optimises the available bandwidth and, by consequence, the user experience.

Frédéric Levy, Passman Group CEO, comments: “Competition for network bandwidth in hotels is intense and growing, as customers adopt increasingly sophisticated applications. Busy-hour traffic is growing more rapidly than average-use Internet traffic, so good bandwidth management is a key component of today’s successful Wi-Fi solutions. Our partnership with OneAccess enables us to introduce a new level of improvement into the services we provide to hoteliers. Now we can give the level of bandwidth needed according to use, ensuring the equity of user-sessions and the prioritization of Premium guest access. This significantly enhances the connectivity experience and promises to increase customer satisfaction.”

“This partnership perfectly reflects what OneAccess does best: we work hand in hand with a service provider to use our expertise and access technologies to address their specific connectivity challenges. Our solutions portfolio offers the widest range of connectivity combinations available in the market, which enables us to address specific technical requirements at a great price/performance ratio. Managed service providers are under pressure to support customers as they adopt more sophisticated, cloud-based applications and services. The need to apply innovative network management solutions that contain costs and wring every last drop of performance from their connectivity has never been more apparent. We’re delighted that our work is having such a positive impact for the Passman Group and greatly look forward to developing our partnership further in the coming months,” added Bertrand Meis, CEO, OneAccess Networks.
