Netadmin Systems acquired by Volaris Group

Netadmin Systems has been acquired by Canada-based Volaris Group, a business that reportedly “acquires, strengthens and grows vertical market technology companies”. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

As Volaris’ second acquisition in the Communications vertical market, Netadmin Systems will remain focused on automating business processes and facilitate Communication Service Providers’ growth when they roll out fibre-based networks (“FTTH/B”). As an Operating Group of Constellation Software Inc., Volaris focuses on strengthening businesses within their markets and enabling them to grow – whether through organic measures such as new initiatives and product development, day-to-day business, or through complementary acquisitions.

Netadmin’s operations support system (OSS) enables CSPs to build and operate their networks, cost-effectively deploy data, voice, and video services, and provide monitoring and assurance to ensure customer service levels are met. Netadmin System i Sverige AB (Netadmin Systems) develops and markets NETadmin, a vendor-independent OSS system automating the service fulfillment and service assurance processes in today’s and tomorrow’s networks. Netadmin Systems is headquartered in Linköping, Sweden with an office in Stockholm. Netadmin Systems has more than 70 customers worldwide. Customers include TeliaSonera, Telenor Open Universe, M7 Group, Caiway, Eidsiva, and Jersey Telecom.

“We are eager to grow our business further in our core markets and expand our presence in other high growth FTTx markets internationally. We are excited about Volaris’ long-term commitment to our market and the best practices and synergies that exist within their emerging Communications vertical,” said Olle Hillström, CEO with Netadmin. “Volaris’ approach to building our business for the long-term has a good fit with our culture. We believe that with Volaris and their investments we can continue to grow our business to better serve our customers worldwide.”
