Mark Edwards, CEO at MDS

MDS, a provider of real-time charging, billing and customer management solutions, has today announced a five-year contract extension with a European-based service provider and MVNO, in a multi-million euro deal.

As part of the agreement, MDS will continue to provide the licence and maintenance services for the MDS Customer Management Platform (CMP) used by the company to manage its business and consumer customer base.

MDS has worked with the service provider since 2001 and the platform operates across 18 countries, supporting multiple languages and currencies. More recently, MDS supported the launch of their consumer mobile MVNO in Europe.

Mark Edwards, CEO at MDS said, “MDS is delighted to be extending its services with this European service provider and MVNO to support its customer management and billing needs. This contract extension reinforces the success we’ve had so far, as MDS continues to help communications service providers to transform themselves to a customer-centric digital services provider – a business model that is key in today’s competitive digital world.”
