HGC Global Communications Limited (HGC) and CMC Telecom have announceda a partnership. This partnership also announced a deployment of EdgeX by HGC at CMC Data Centre Tan Thuan in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
According to the “National Digital Transformation Programme to 2025, orientation to 2030”, Vietnam aims to enter the top 50 countries in e-government and ensure that digital economy accounts for 30% of the country’s GDP (gross domestic product) by 2030. To address the government’s initiative, this partnership is dedicated to supporting Vietnamese companies with solutions and the network infrastructure needed to thrive in the digital age.
Leveraging EdgeX by HGC, the edge computing platform, companies gain access to multi-cloud infrastructures, global networks, and connect to internet exchanges, such as AMS-IX, all in one place. In addition, EdgeX by HGC, along with its eyeball-as-a-service, facilitates the provision of ultra-low-latency and secure connectivity with resilience. It enhances the end-user experience and enables deploying geolocation services and mission-critical applications for OTTs (over-the-top), content providers, gaming applications, and streaming services.
