Metronet connects Beavercreek with Symmetrical, multi-gigabit speeds upto 10 gigabits

Metronet has announced that residents and businesses throughout Beavercreek now have access to Metronet’s multi-gigabit 100% fibre optic internet with service installation now available. In addition to Metronet’s current offerings of 1 gigabit per second, speeds up to 2 gigabits are now available for residents; businesses may choose speeds of up to 10 gigabits. Customers located in Metronet’s initial construction areas may now sign up to be installed by visiting here.

“The City of Beavercreek welcomes Metronet to the community,” says Pete Landrum, city manager. “Their presence in Beavercreek will bring more competition to the area and offer residents and business owners with additional options when choosing an internet provider.”

“Beavercreek has been wonderful to work alongside as we bring our multi-gigabit, future-proof internet to residents and businesses throughout the city,” says John Autry, Metronet regional sales manager, community development. “As one of the first communities in Ohio that will have access to our multi-gigabit speeds, we are excited to see the positive impact of our future-proof infrastructure.”

As construction continues, residents in construction areas will receive 30 days advance notice by mail about construction activity in their neighborhood. Metronet provides additional messaging, such as yard signs, to notify residents of when construction is beginning in their neighborhood. Metronet crews are marked by ID tags and branded vehicles.
