Telia Company has announced changes to its group executive management team through the merger of the communications, brand and sustainability functions, appointing Ola Rembe as senior vice president, head of communications, brand and sustainability. Ola will assume his position at Telia in March.

Allison Kirkby, Telia Company president and CEO, says, “Telia’s role in providing the Nordics and Baltics with the region’s most secure and reliable digital connectivity has never been more important. I am delighted to welcome Ola Rembe to our group executive management team. Due to his knowledge of our sector and track record at Ericsson and most recently as partner at Kekst CNC, he will play a critical role in communicating the full breadth and potential of Telia’s networks and services, while leading our contribution to a climate-neutral future.”

Following this change, Rachel Samren, currently senior vice president, chief external affairs and trust officer, will leave the company and Per Carleo, currently senior vice president, head of brand, will report to Ola Rembe.

Allison Kirkby says, “I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Rachel Samren who has been a valuable member of the group executive management team during the first phase of Telia’s transformation and has contributed greatly to our progress.”
