Tenable Network Security achieves AWS Foundations benchmark certification

Tenable Network Security, Inc. has announced it has received certification from the Center for Internet Security (CIS) for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Foundations benchmark.

“Given the growing complexities of cloud, industry standards such as the CIS security benchmark provide organisations with an important baseline for cloud security,” said Renaud Deraison, co-founder and chief technology officer, Tenable Network Security. “As the first vendor to receive CIS certification for AWS, Tenable helps customers assess and improve their overall security posture while gaining the benefits of cloud.”

The CIS benchmark for AWS provides prescriptive guidance for configuring security options for a basic set of foundational AWS services including identity and access management (IAM), logging, monitoring and networking. With Tenable CIS auditing and reporting features, customers are able to adhere to industry best practices and recommendations and gain critical visibility into their AWS deployment.
