Zscaler security offering now available to all Deutsche Telekom’s business customers

Zscaler, has jointly announced with Deutsche Telekom at the CeBIT conference in Hanover, Germany that Zscaler will power Deutsche Telekom’s newest security solution, Internet Protect Pro.

This is a new offering from its Magenta Security Portfolio, for its business customers. The completely cloud based Internet Protect Pro encompasses the Zscaler cloud security platform and be operated in Deutsche Telekom’s highly secure data centre in Biere, Germany ensuring compliance with European data residency and privacy requirements.

With this announcement, Deutsche Telekom continues its expansion into cloud services and further differentiates itself by offering uncompromising trust and security that is easy and convenient to deploy.

With Zscaler, Deutsche Telekom is able to offer its customers a cloud-based security solution that includes the following key capabilities:

Advanced security

  • Web security, next generation cloud firewall and sandboxing that ensures that businesses are protected from inbound threats including traditional malware, botnets attacks and APT (advanced persistent threats)
  • DLP (Data Loss Prevention) to monitor and block core intellectual property from leaving a company
  • Enforcement of a company’s Internet access policy to prevent the unauthorised access to locations or applications that could compromise a company’s security posture

With Zscaler’s cloud based security, Deutsche Telekom is able to offer its businesses a high level of security for all their employees no matter where they are – headquarters, branch offices, or working remotely from their homes – and irrespective of the device they use to access the Internet (PC, mobile phone or tablet).
