Eltek announces a partnership with Camusat for high-efficiency energy solutions

Eltek has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding for alternative energy solutions with Camusat International SAS, the global leader in field operations. The goal is to deliver best-in-class energy solutions and services with a focus on minimising carbon footprint.

Camusat will promote Eltek’s high efficiency power conversion systems and MSM (MultiSite Monitor) and embed them into ePower, a modular, multi-tenant, fast deployable, hybrid energy solution for telecom sites. In addition, Eltek will be able to use Camusat’s services teams and local presence worldwide to reinforce Eltek’s turnkey projects and managed services capabilities.

Eltek boasts industry-leading power conversion efficiency and has a proven record with more than 2 million high-efficiency power modules and more than 10,000 hybrid commercial sites in the field. Given the enormous amounts of diesel energy consumed by poor and off-grid mobile and telecommunications sites every day, efficiency and carbon footprint reduction in all links in the chain is crucial to minimise operational expenses and fight against climate change.

Said Jim Rowland, Eltek’s global account director: “With Camusat’s extensive local presence, field experience and expertise, this memorandum of understanding enables us to expand our footprint. It also demonstrates the appreciation and demand for our smart and high-efficiency solutions.”

Camusat CEO, Richard Thomas, added: “We are glad to work with an industry leader like Eltek as we are both aligned to provide service providers with the power they need while minimising impact on the environment. The flexibility and features of ePower solution will only be improved with access to Eltek’s high-efficiency power systems.”
