Prepaid International Forum appoints PrePay Solutions’ Emily Baum to its board

PrePay Solutions (PPS), has announces that Emily Baum, its business development director, has been elected to serve on the board of the Prepaid International Forum (PIF), the not-for-profit body representing the prepaid industry. PIF’s board reflects the diverse nature of its membership, which includes award-winning providers of prepaid products and solutions, as well as suppliers of services to the industry.

Emily has been at frontline of the prepaid market for eight years. Following her time at Raphaels Bank, where she led the business development strategy, Emily joined PrePay Solutions to grow the company’s open loop products.

Emily Baum, business development director at PPS, comments: “I am extremely proud to join the board of PIF, which has a reputation for providing excellent legal and regulatory content. PIF’s board features some of the industry’s best talent, as well as a diverse range of experience and expertise.”

“Our ambition is to provide a dedicated, responsible association that sets a strong example for the industry. We want to create a robust community that payment companies feel compelled to join. Unifying the sector will put prepaid at the front of the payments field. This will give us a strong voice in the public domain to fight for consumer understanding and develop a more positive media presence.”

PIF chairman Craig James comments: “We were delighted to see such a high level of interest and participation from our members in the election. This is a clear indication of the increasing recognition and support that PIF is receiving from the industry. Emily brings tremendous industry knowledge as well as leadership expertise to our already outstanding board. I am confident that she will make an enormous contribution as we continue to build value for our members and strive to position PIF as a strong and fully representative body for the prepaid industry.”
