RCN goes live with NetCracker revenue management
RCN, a US-based provider of high-speed internet, digital TV, telephone and business communications services, has gone live with an upgrade to NetCracker’s next-generation revenue management system.
RCN is a competitive cable provider focused largely on metropolitan markets, such as New York City, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
“NetCracker not only provides the functionality we need to innovate and differentiate our offerings, but has also proven its ability to deliver new capabilities rapidly and work closely with our IT organisation to achieve our time-to-market goals,” said Rob Roeder, executive vice president and chief development officer at RCN. “Our proven partnership with NetCracker enables a strong foundation to continue growing our business in new consumer sub-segments as well as into larger-scale enterprise customers.”
As part of this go-live, RCN has not only upgraded its core NetCracker solution but also added next-generation revenue management capabilities to support more complex rating scenarios, particularly in its B2B operations. With these enhancements, RCN can bring more sophisticated and personalised services to market faster while introducing a variety of converged business models.
“Our partnership with RCN exemplifies the way in which NetCracker seeks to collaborate with customers and deliver new capabilities that enable them to create whole new offerings and accelerate the pace at which they are brought to market,” said Sylvain Seignour, vice president for the Americas at NetCracker. “This agreement is another example of the confidence and trust NetCracker has earned as a leader in revenue management solutions worldwide.”
