Intercomms Magazine interviews Sprint and Netformx to understand the benefits to automating the requirements-to-order process.  They found that Sprint has been proactive in offering enterprises converged services such as cloud-based unified communication services, bring your own device (BYOD) management for wireless services, and MPLS managed services. In doing so they faced both business and technical complexities.

Sprint has increased sales and sped time-to-market by automating the design of complex enterprise networks and generating compelling proposals. Automation is a huge differentiator for them because they can do real-time design, provisioning, and workflow.
