Astellia and VoIPFuture partner for 3G and 4G VoIP monitoring

Astellia and VoIPFuture have announced a partnership to complete Astellia’s network monitoring solution for 2G, 3G and LTE networks with VoIP monitoring from VoIPFuture.

The partnership has been established to address growing demand in the global market for Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) monitoring solutions.

Astellia’s probe-based monitoring solution provides mobile network operators with a deeper understanding of network efficiency from radio access to core, subscriber behaviour and experience, handset performance, voice and data services. Through relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) mobile network operators get precious information which helps them troubleshoot issues, identify high churn risk subscribers and improve user experience.

VoIPFuture’s technology is designed to control and improve voice quality in IP networks, such as modern IMS and LTE mobile networks. The solution uses a combination of packet flow analysis and deep packet inspection to monitor and analyse VoIP services. Its unique KPIs support mobile operators and carriers in their move to IP by providing essential information to management, customer care and operations.

“This partnership allows us to address our customer’s new challenges with IP-based voice transmission in 3G and 4G networks. Hereby we complete and strengthen Astellia’s Core solution in VoIP and VoLTE,” said Emmanuel Audousset, EVP business development of Astellia. “Mobile operators will greatly benefit from Astellia’s profound mobile expertise and VoIPFuture’s innovative RTP and MOS monitoring technology.” he added.
