11 March, 2020Initiative to advance cloud, automation and edge computing launched by NGMN Alliance
The Board of the Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN) Alliance has launched new activities to support the adoption of a cloud-native infrastructure for telecommunication service providers. The initiative will address hybrid cloud architecture challenges (such as edge computing) and will, says the alliance, change the industry’s network vision. The project has been highlighted as a crucial development area to further optimise and guide the telecoms industry towards the successful deployment of 5G beyond 2020. (more…)
