Mitel agrees to acquire ShoreTel as consolidation speeds its move into high-growth UCaaS market

Mitel and ShoreTel have entered into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which Mitel will acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of ShoreTel common stock. This is an all-cash transaction at a price of US$7.50 (€6.39) per share, or a total equity value of approximately $530 million (€451.47 million) and a total enterprise value of approximately $430 million (€366.28 million).
