amdocs:next, the business unit of Amdocs that focuses on broadband and home connectivity, has unveiled new consumer hardware for the first time in the form of doxi, a smart home router. A new study from Juniper Research has found that eCommerce merchant losses to online payment fraud will exceed $25 billion (€22 billion) in 2024. The figure in 2020 stands at $17 billion (€14 billion), despite the ongoing implementation of Secure Customer Authentication (SCA) in Europe. (more…)

A new study from Juniper Research has found that businesses in eCommerce, airline ticketing, money transfer and banking services, will cumulatively lose over $200 billion (€181 billion) to online payment fraud between 2020 and 2024; driven by the increased sophistication of fraud attempts and the rising number of attack vectors.
