SIMalliance morphs into trusted connectivity alliance to expand scope and membership in SIM industry
In line with the continued growth and evolution of the global SIM industry, SIMalliance has opened up its membership beyond traditional SIM vendors in order to extend the scope of its work. The new-look organisation aims to address both established and emerging SIM technologies and engage new industry participants. The move has led SIMalliance to change its name to the Trusted Connectivity Alliance (TCA). (more…)
The top three obstacles to large commercial eSIM deployments are resistance from traditional stakeholders (69%), complexity to deliver eSIMs (40%) and lock-in concerns (40%). Intel announced the availability of the Intel® Stratix® 10 MX FPGA, the industry’s first field programmable gate array (FPGA) with integrated High Bandwidth Memory DRAM (HBM2). By integrating the FPGA and the HBM2, Intel Stratix 10 MX FPGAs offer up to 10 times the memory bandwidth when compared with standalone DDR memory solutions. (more…)
