Isaac joins global cybersecurity firm Forcepoint as VP of sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa

Global cybersecurity provider Forcepoint announced it is further cementing global operations to meet growing demand for human-centric cybersecurity solutions by appointing Kevin Isaac as vice president of sales. Isaac is based in Forcepoint’s Reading, UK office and reports to chief revenue officer, Sean Foster.

Isaac will lead the growth strategy for the company’s operations across EMEA, and will drive customer engagement across the entire portfolio of Forcepoint’s technology, including CASB, data loss prevention, insider threat, web security, email security and next-generation firewalls.

The appointment expands on the company’s commitment to deliver insightful security solutions that help customers understand the rhythm of people in the organisation and flow of critical business data and intellectual property – wherever it may reside. This people-first approach helps global enterprises and governments focus resources on activities that present the greatest risk to their business or mission.

“In the new digital and mobile world where there is no longer a perimetre, the detection and protection of data using point products is just not good enough. The market is moving to cyber solutions that adapt protection based on the context of user behavior, and we need inspirational and driven leaders to help customers and partners address this paradigm shift,” said Foster. “Kevin and his teams will help lead the charge in delivering the most intelligent systems that facilitate business and foster productivity while stopping bad cyber activity.”

In the last month, the EMEA sales leadership team also added Mahmoud-Samy Ibrahim to lead emerging markets. Ibrahim joins from Arbor Networks and will focus on Dubai, Russia, Turkey and United Arab Emirates.

Isaac comes to Forcepoint with more than 30 years of dynamic leadership experience in the international technology sector. Most recently, Isaac was senior vice president for EMEA Enterprise Sales at Symantec where he successfully repositioned the company as a pure security player.

Prior to this, he held various regional sales roles at Symantec, including responsibility for all mid-sized and emerging regions. Before joining Symantec, Isaac spent more than seven years in sales leadership and general manager roles focused on emerging European markets.

“Forcepoint’s transformative outlook on user intent puts customers in position to stop breaches by proactively detecting abnormal behavior across a range of risk indicators,” said Isaac. “I look forward to helping organisations in EMEA strategically address their security and data protection challenges, including meeting GDPR compliance, while they protect the human point within their organisations, where data is most valuable and most vulnerable.”

In addition to these appointments in EMEA, Forcepoint has also made a key appointment in APAC, with George Chang joining as vice president of sales for the region. Most recently, Chang served as regional vice president of APAC sales at Fortinet in Singapore.
