DigitalRoute has announced that its MediationZone technology has been certified by Nokia for compatibility within the company’s Nokia Telco Cloud Architecture.
Nokia has certified MediationZone as a multi-purpose integration platform encompassing all of DigitalRoute’s telecoms products which include billing mediation, OSS mediation, usage management, KPI management and policy control. DigitalRoute’s certification builds on a successful partnership with Nokia that began in 2006. Certification testing was carried out by technical personnel from both companies within a pre-defined scope in Nokia’s testing lab.
Nokia Certification represents an industry-standard verification of MediationZone’s suitability to operate in NFV environments. As part of the Nokia ecosystem, it also affords DigitalRoute’s customers the security of knowing that its technology will remain up to date with the telco cloud’s latest standards and requirements, as they evolve.
Used by over 350 communications service providers (CSPs) and other enterprises worldwide, DigitalRoute’s MediationZone technology provides a proven approach to solving multiple data integration and management challenges.
DigitalRoute CEO, Johan Bergh, said: “The virtualisation of both networks and individual functions within those networks is becoming a core part of many telcos’ long-term strategies and NFV deployments generally are rapidly picking up pace. Nokia certification allows the carrier community to be confident that DigitalRoute Technology remains the safest bet to meet their data integration needs, regardless of the deployment environment.”
