Serveurcom selects Metaswitch for business communications
Metaswitch Networks has announced that Serveurcom, an internet service provider (ISP) based in Le Mans, France, has deployed Metaswitch’s Business Communications solution to deliver hosted voice and rich unified communications (UC) and collaboration services to its growing customer base.
Serveurcom, initially focused on small-to-medium-sized businesses in France, is planning to expand its offerings across Europe, selling both directly and through third parties to whom it white labels its services.
“After ten years of reselling business voice services, we decided to deploy our own infrastructure in order to provide a superior customer experience. The first thing we were looking for was a robust and reliable solution that would evolve with advances in technology,” said Damien Watine, the chief executive of Serveurcom. “While others were offering just pieces of the package, Metaswitch offered the complete solution, from infrastructure to applications, along with the expertise we needed to take it to market quickly and successfully.”
Serveurcom chose Metaswitch’s Accession Communicator to deliver full-featured UC, collaboration and video conferencing on mobile and desktop; the MetaView Management Suite, for its suite of analytics, network visibility and unrivalled continuous diagnostic capabilities; and the Perimeta Session Border Controllers (SBC). The MetaSphere Multiservice Telephony Application Server (MTAS) is the heart of the platform; deployed geographically redundantly across two sites, it equips Serveurcom to meet the most demanding of business service continuity requirements.
“With superior customer support and a desire to extend the latest technological advancements to their growing customer base, Serveurcom holds the same core values as ours,” said Vincent Gaudron, regional sales director at Metaswitch. “With such business synergies, we are pleased to have been selected as a critical part of Serveurcom’s plan to expand its footprint across Europe.”
