DigitalRoute appoints Lena Nyberg to the post of senior vice president, Global Services

DigitalRoute, has announced the appointment of Lena Nyberg to the position of senior vice president, Global Services.

In her new role, Lena will be responsible for leading the team, liaising directly with the company’s customers and partners on issues related to their implementations and usage of MediationZone technology.

Lena’s experience and skills will be fully leveraged by the DigitalRoute community. Most recently, she served as CSO of the operator Teracom Boxer Group where she gained extensive experience in the Telecom market as well as the IT/business consultancy business. This has given her a deep understanding of the needs of CSPs as well as their application providers.

Prior to Teracom, Lena held management positions at WM-data and Logica, the latter furthering her understanding of partner relationships. There, as head of the Swedish Signals Intelligence Division, she worked on international ventures enabling her to gain insights into differing regional requirements.

Lena’s arrival at DigitalRoute progresses the company’s restructuring toward a single global services organisation to match its new global sales division. As a result, technical and product expertise will be available to customers regardless of location but, rather, where needs and skills are best matched regardless of geography.

The new role of Senior VP Global Services will also further strengthen the ability to deliver what the CSP market wants of the data integration and management technology leader. In her role, Lena and her team will evolve DigitalRoute’s strategic global services offerings and explore new potential markets for the company.

Said Nyberg: “I am delighted to join a highly respected, established yet still growing software company whose technology – in light of market trends including virtualisation and digitisation – is becoming more and more central to the CSP’s success. Significant opportunities lie ahead for DigitalRoute and it is exciting to be part of the organisation being formed to respond to them.”

Added Johan Bergh, chief executive officer, DigitalRoute: “Leading Global Services is a key position for the company and the creation of this new responsibility underlines our growth both in terms of size and competences. I expect Lena to develop a World Class services organisation underpinned by our core values: Expertise, Open Mindedness, and Commitment. This can only benefit the clients among DigitalRoute’s 350+ implementations.”
