Logi Analytics board appoints Schneider as next CEO, Jackson to become executive chairman

Logi Analytics has announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Steven Schneider as chief executive officer. Brett Jackson will assume the role of executive chairman and will continue to serve as the chairman of Logi’s Board.

“I can think of no better candidate than Steven Schneider to succeed me as CEO and lead Logi in its next phase of growth, ensuring that we will continue to have strong leadership for the long-term future. Over the past eight years, Steven has played an instrumental role in building our company. He is a skilled strategist with an ability to translate vision into execution based on his strong, cross-functional operational experience.

Most importantly, he knows our business, our team, our products, and our customers,” said Logi Executive chairman Brett Jackson. “We have a culture of promoting from within, so I am especially gratified to be handing the CEO role to someone we know, trust and respect. His vision, strategy and execution track record is exactly what Logi needs as we enter a new era of product innovation and growth.”

“I first joined the Logi Analytics family as a customer. The same that thing attracted me to Logi as a customer, and then as an employee, still holds true today – a devotion to creating engaging analytics that drive user adoption,” said Steven Schneider, CEO, Logi Analytics.

Schneider joined Logi Analytics in 2008 and has moved quickly through the Company’s ranks, leading multiple key functions, including Sales, Marketing and Product. As chief product officer he was the key architect of Logi’s product strategy, which we believe is why Gartner positioned Logi Analytics as a visionary in the February 2016 Magic Quadrant for BI and Analytics Platforms. He most recently served as chief operating officer with a focus on developing Logi’s long term strategy.

“The opportunity ahead is tremendous – yet the potential impact on organisations has barely been realised. Greater adoption of analytics not only improves communication and efficiencies, but also transforms business models. Our customers are using Logi in ways we couldn’t have imagined just a few years ago,” continued Schneider.

“I’m honored by the opportunity to lead such a great team, and I couldn’t be more confident in our future. I’m proud of what we have accomplished and excited about the innovation to come.”

Logi Analytics also announced that Brett Jackson has assumed the role of executive chairman and will continue to serve as chairman of Logi’s Board of Directors. He will devote his time to supporting Schneider as he continues to drive product innovation and implements his long-term vision.

Jackson has served as Logi’s CEO since 2009. During his tenure, the company’s customer base grew 6X, revenues grew 8X and product development investment grew more than tenfold. Logi has also been recognised by multiple industry analysts as the leader in embedded analytics.
