SQR Systems names Elisabetta Zaccaria as new Chief Strategy Officer

SQR Systems, a London-based provider in encrypted mobile communications has announced that Elisabetta Zaccaria, has been named Chief Strategy Officer.

As a provider of mobile and network security solutions for enterprise and government, SQR Systems is expanding its executive team with the addition of Elisabetta Zaccaria. She is a seasoned information security executive who reportedly brings extensive strategic and operational experience with both public and private high growth services and technology companies.

 Zaccaria joined SQR Systems in 2013 as business mentor and in 2014 she was named non-executive director. In her new role, she will be responsible, alongside the founders for the strategic and operational leadership of the business.

Prior to joining SQR Systems Ltd, Ms Zaccaria was the chief operating officer and chief strategy officer of Global Strategies Group, a British company investing and operating in defense, national security and information security markets. In 2012 Ms Zaccaria left Global Strategies Group after a career with the company and its predecessor organisations spanning nearly nine years and including several acquisitions, an IPO on Nasdaq and an exit to a US private equity house, which saw the British standalone start-up transformed into a major international company, reaching $500 million in revenues in only six years.

Ms Zaccaria is also the founder and CEO of cyberY, a firm specialised in the design and development of innovation ecosystems. Ms Zaccaria takes strong personal interest in supporting UK entrepreneurship and innovation and has distinguished herself through her pro-bono work with several organisations, including cyberY, Cylon, Start-up Direct, UCL Advances and London Business School.
