Revector partners with Neural Technologies to protect CSP revenues

Mobile anti-fraud and revenue protection specialist Revector has announced a partnership with risk management and analytics company Neural Technologies, to offer communications service providers (CSPs) an anti-fraud and revenue protection service to mitigate risk and eliminate revenue loss.

With more than ten years’ experience in revenue protection and fraud reduction, Revector will combine its award winning products with Neural Technologies’ comprehensive risk management capabilities to offer communications service providers the most comprehensive and real time anti-fraud and risk management service on the market.

The two companies’ combined customer base exceeds 200 mobile operators globally and the partnership will enable customers to more effectively detect and locate fraud on their networks as well as reduce revenue lost to mis-billing.

As outlined in Neural Technologies’ 2016 Telecoms Risk Management survey, operators lose more than 10% of revenues from uncollected revenues or fraud, whilst the Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) equated this to global losses of almost $300 billion in 2015.

Andy Gent, the chief executive of Revector, said: “Fraud and revenue loss is a serious business for network operators and their shareholders. It also funds organised crime and limits the economic benefits that an effective communications network can deliver. Our partnership with Neural Technologies, which combines two multi-award winning revenue protection companies, will provide industry leading solutions to monitor, manage, detect and eliminate fraud and revenue loss for telecommunications companies.”

Luke Taylor, the CCO of Neural Technologies, added: “Our recent survey of telecommunications’ operators identified over-the-top (OTT) bypass revenue loss as a significant threat to revenues. Both companies are a natural fit – Revector has a world leading innovative solutions to this which, when combined with our expertise in analytics and risk management, can quickly eliminate this threat to revenues.”
