CWC to deploy TrueCall geoanalytics platform

Tektronix Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Netscout Systems, has announced Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) is to deploy its TrueCall platform to reduce operating expenses and improve network and subscriber services.

TrueCall will be deployed for CWC networks operated under the LIME/Flow brand in the company’s Caribbean coverage area, and under the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) brand in the Bahamas.

“With the implementation of TrueCall, we will be able to drive deeper analytical insights, intelligence and solutions needed to help us forge stronger customer relationships that create long-term value, and deliver on our commitment of providing unparalleled customer service experiences in every telecoms market we serve across the Caribbean and Latin American region,” said Carlo Alloni, CWC’s chief technical information officer.

TrueCall is a real-time radio access network (RAN) geoanalytics platform that geolocates and analyses every subscriber event on the mobile network, capturing and correlating customer experience, device performance and network performance data in real time. Operators can view their entire networks one subscriber experience at a time.

“CWC has to deal with a number of issues unique to a Caribbean-island operator, and TrueCall will be a valuable addition to its network management systems,” said Richard Kenedi, president of service provider business at Netscout.  “With the insight TrueCall provides, CWC will solve customer and network problems and save money. We are so pleased the company chose our product to help deliver on its objectives.”
