Roke Telkom and Encore purchase Telarix iXLink for automated trading

Roke Telkom and Encore have selected Telarix’s iXLink price list automation after the release of its Smart Links automated trading platfrom. By utilising iXLink they become preferred partners to the vendors deploying Smart Links.

“Encore has a mandate to work and grow our business with PTTs and Tier-1 carriers worldwide, iXLink is the standard way most are requiring us to send and receive rates,” said Wayne Silver, the chief executive of Encore. “If you want to be taken seriously in our hyper-competitive business then iXLink is a must for your business as it’s a tool we know we can grow with as our business grows.”

Smart Links uses a CSP’s business intelligence to completely automate trading between CSPs. The tool allows CSPs to create financially sound target buy and sell lists utilising set business rules and data. The lists are automatically sent to vendors and vendors are able to match opportunities, creating a completely automated buying process.

“We’ve been constantly innovating by adding new modules and features in iXLink, automated trading via Smart Links is the latest modules carriers across the globe have asked for,” said Tucker Davidson, the vice president of Global Development for Telarix. “By purchasing iXLink, Roke Telkom and Encore have positioned themselves to take full advantage of their vendor relationships, including Smart Links.”

Roger Sekagiza, the chief executive of Roke Telkom, added: “We see iXLink as a necessary component to our business strategy. We have already seen significant efficiencies from utilising the software and we know our adoption of it makes us much more attractive to our vendors, as Smart Links continues to be embraced we know we are in a great position for growth.”
