Tiscali chooses Sigma quote-to-fulfillment for public administration services

Sigma Systems has closed an idea-to-install contract with Italian CSP Tiscali.

The project will include Sigma Catalog, Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Order Management and Provisioning, completing a full roll-out of Sigma Systems’ core product suite. The agreement was reached as part of a larger contract to provide data services for the whole Tiscali Business portfolio dedicated to public administration in Italy.

Salvatore Pulvirenti, the CIO of Tiscali, said: “After several months of planning, I am pleased to announce Sigma has signed a multi-year contract with Tiscali for Catalog, CPQ, Order Management and Provisioning services. Our business strategy requires all of Tiscali and its partners to come together quickly, and we are delighted to have Sigma as part of the team.”

“With Sigma Systems, our manual activities have been reduced by 70% and when we pass that savings on to our customers everybody is happy,” added Pulvirenti

The new deployment will allow for Sigma Catalog to be the central source for the project’s master data management and will span the sales, order and delivery process of the new services.

“This is a success Sigma and Tiscali should share in” said Tim Spencer, the president and CEO of Sigma Systems, “Having the Sigma Systems product portfolio spanning from the creation to delivery of new products will allow for much greater operational agility and cost savings for Tiscali and a seamless experience for their business customer base in Italy.”
