DigitalRoute partners with Forelink to address APAC market

DigitalRoute, has entered into a partnership with Forelink, a professional services company focused on network integration, software development and IT services. DigitalRoute, which provides billing mediation and also addresses other use cases including policy control, OSS mediation, mass data processing for enterprise, usage management and diameter routing control, says the partnership has already yielded a customer win which it is to announce shortly.

These technologies play a key role in a communications service provider’s (CSP) IT Infrastructure where they reduce costs, enable significant offloading at various junctures within BSS, enable rapid new service launches, enrich the customer experience and serve as a platform from which to transform outdated legacy IT. CSPs including KT (APAC), Vodafone (UK), Vodacom (South Africa), Deutsche Telekom (EMEA) and Telus (North America) already use DigitalRoute technology to achieve these benefits.

Forelink focuses on providing network integration services, network equipment products and its application software solutions, and billing system outsourcing services for telecom industry customers.

Together, DigitalRoute and Forelink will partner to deliver DigitalRoute technology to CSPs in South Korea and across the Asia Pacific region. A first win in South Korea is to be announced imminently where the customer has selected DigitalRoute’s mediation and usage management offerings to serve as a platform from which its BSS infrastructure can be transformed.

Song Ki-bong, the CEO of Forelink, said: “We are excited to partner with DigitalRoute to bring its data integration solution to carriers in South Korea and across the APAC region. DigitalRoute’s reputation in billing mediation is unsurpassed and its usage management extension will enable carriers to reinvent how BSS drives their businesses. In South Korea, the DigitalRoute brand name is growing strongly and we are very pleased to be their local partner providing expertise on DigitalRoute solutions”

Johan Bergh, the CEO of DigitalRoute, added: “We are pleased to partner with Forelink, a key player in the South Korean IT landscape, to extend our footprint in the region, a geography in which growth is a focal point for our company. Our work with Forelink, already cemented with a customer win, underlines our commitment to delivering the market’s best mediation products across Asia with them.”
