New Release Signals Importance of Managing the Digital User Lifecycle as Operators Prepare to Compete in the Over-the-Top and Consumer IoT Space

UXP Systems, is pleased to announce that MINT User Lifecycle Management 4.0 will be available for its existing and new customers in July 2015.

“Operators are finding an increasingly competitive and disrupted landscape that forces a consideration of what new capabilities they need in order remain relevant to changing user behaviors,” said Jim MacDonald, VP of Marketing at UXP Systems. “Through experiences via internet and over-the-top offerings, consumers are increasingly expecting a unified and personalized experience for every digital user, across households, devices, and services.  Enabling frictionless journeys for every individual end user to create, manage and enjoy an online experience is the cornerstone of digital transformation.”

UXP Systems’ MINT ULM platform allows innovation above existing legacy systems, enabling operators to own and manage one-to-one user relationships through simplified user journeys, unifying access to digital services and personalizing experiences. MINT ULM 4.0 includes:

  • An expanded User Lifecycle Management (ULM) process library for user onboarding, user access delegation processes, household/group management and device-to-user association
  • Pre-integration to cloud-based payment systems to monetize every digital user, rather than being constrained to one billing relationship per household/account
  • Out of the box ULM processes and adapters to support Consumer Internet of Things offerings, including adapters for seamless access for digital users to selected home control, lighting and fitness providers
  • Expanded support for enhanced high availability and fault-tolerant/geo-redundancy configurations for multi-geography implementations

“Operators acknowledge that the end-user is at the heart of the digital experience, and perhaps more importantly, that there is an emerging war over that digital user relationship,” said Jay Deen, Chief Technology Officer at UXP Systems Inc.  “We designed the release of MINT ULM 4.0 to add support for new business models like Consumer IoT, increased operator scalability and enhanced User Lifecycle Management processes that not only increase an operator’s competitive position but also enable new monetization opportunities.”
